Rabat

I hadn’t planned on coming to Rabat, in fact I only found out it was worth visiting until I was at the airmuseum.  My recommendation to others is to plan to go there.  It is a lovely town which amongst other things has a lot of statues to religious figures.

There is a Franciscan Friar’s monastery in the middle of town, which has a rather interesting feature wall. Or perhaps an interesting feature next to their wall display?

You can see the roads are quite narrow, which is common in the towns of Malta.  And yet this one, needed to have a speed hump in it to slow the drivers down…

There are also some really pretty and unusual buildings in Rabat, making the most of the space available.
