This train journey from Bergen to Oslo is absolutely stunning. I took lots of photos, but as is so frequently the case with beautiful landscapes, it is impossible to capture the awe in photos. Specially not when they are taken from a train!
Sometimes when travelling I feel like I’ve now seen a particular place and don’t feel any need to return. On this occasion, having seen Norway in the snow, I’m now really interested in seeing this all in the summer when the grass has recovered and everything turns green.
As my journey took me closer to sea level, the snow depth reduced as well, although some of the lakes or sounds we passed still looked quite frozen.
