As I mentioned last week, Alvor has a lovely beach which we could see in the distance when skydiving. We couldn’t spend a week there without taking a walk to the sea.
There are quite steep cliffs between the part of town we were staying and the sandy beach, from which there are great views over the Atlantic.
In the picture of the sea below, you can see some of the flowers growing along the the cliff path we took down to the water level.
I kept stopping on the way down to take close ups of different flowers, clinging on to the cliff face.
This particular clump caught all of our attention because nearly every flower had a beetle sitting in its middle.
