The Haute Ville is separated from the southern part of the city by a deep gorge. There a numerous bridges which have been built a different times which span this gorge.
There are roads and houses down both the northern and southern side of the gorge and at the bottom is a beautiful park.
As I was flying out of Luxembourg it the way the gorge snakes its way through the city was very apparent. The picture I took from the plane wasn’t as good the as view itself!
