We also had a buffet lunch on the boat. One person in our party was very late so all the other boats had left before us and we were the last boat in a large flotilla, at least 9 boats.
We had a good view of the galley of the boat in front of us – ours was the same, more or less open-air and everything being cooked on an open (gas) flame. At one point we could see some big flames from the boat in front and later a fisherman pulled in behind the boat and passed some large fish over.
There are many more photos from this river cruise which I will post over the coming weeks although they are not accompanied by words in the journal. I’ll start this series here with pictures of other boats on the river Li.
