Shootout

Tombstone plaqueOne of the most famous shoot-outs was at the OK Corral between the Earp and the Clanton factions in Tombstone, AZ in 1881.  The City Hall and Court House were built in 1882 as the land around the OK Corral became a populated town.

The street between these two buildings feels like (and has been) a film set for western films.

A variety of acting groups perform shoot-outs more than once a day and I succumbed to watch a show with a good guy, a bad guy and an ugly guy (it couldn’t have been anything else!)

And as was predictable there was a gunfight!
