Running water

On our way back from Beaver Falls to Mooney the perspective changed.  Obviously.  We were walking up river.  01-IMG_6232Facing all the small rivulets and waterfalls encouraged me to play with the exposure settings on my camera.  This isn’t a photography blog so please don’t judge my foray into long exposure (without a tripod I should add!) too harshly.

I can’t describe the beauty of this canyon making up part of the Grand Canyon system.  The colours and contrasts are stunning, the water warm(ish), the ecosystem unique and the sensation of how long it has been there, balanced and working without human interference is awe inspiring.
