Streetside Mosaic

In a part of Houston, street names and the block numbers are indicated by mosaic laid into the kerbstones at intersections.

In some instances, re-surfacing of the roads has pretty much covered the whole street name up rendering this elegant street signage useless

And in other situations, the mosaic stones have been removed and re-shaped into equally non-informative, but amusing images
