Street corners at which I like to hang out

I walk to college classes four mornings a week through the leafy Westmoreland Neighbourhood and then along Holman in Midtown Houston. There are lots of roads to cross, some with lights for pedestrian crossings.

In this weather there are two particular corners where I look forward to being stopped by traffic.  The first one is by the Trinity Church and covered in flowering Jasmine, the second one is on Emerson and covered in the sweet scented flowers below.  I don’t know what they are, they just smell lovely and look pretty!

Do you know this plant?
I know the picture isn’t that great, do you recognise this plant anyway?
