The tracks for the metra train connecting Evanston to central Chicago are raised around Roger’s Park. The concrete walls of the underpasses for roads crossing the tracks have been painted, each underpass having its own theme. I suppose that in addition to making them a less boring, they are also less vulnerable to tagging graffiti.
